Many folks around the world choose to believe in something like a supreme, almighty, all-knowing intelligence or “god” of one kind or another. Sometimes the difference between a Cult & a religion, may only be the numbers of its members.

It is impossible to unite a nation or the global community towards any kind of real long lasting, sustainable peace around the planet without separating the facts from fiction when it comes to our most cherished & fundamental belief systems. If our beliefs are so important to us we must verify them with more careful examination.

Cults & religions may also do good things for people & offer a real sense of belonging. This sense of belonging goes right to the core of one of the most troubling aspects of our modern, affluent society - a feeling of alienation. It is this need to belong and have a higher purpose to life which is, unfortunately, being exploited. Fundamentalists place a high priority on doctrinal conformity, with such force that it may at times take higher priority than love, compassion and service.

The enemy is fraud, lies, manipulation, discrimination, biases & prejudice etc. We may find our way towards unity when these obstacles are out in the open for all to see.

Blood knows no borders, nature like life, knows no religion.
